Account Executive - WMFX / WARQ / WZMJ
Below are the responsibilities and duties that you will be expected to acceptably perform in the role of Account Executive for Inner City Broadcasting, Columbia, SC:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Achieving individual local sales goals per station assigned.
2. Maintaining and/or increasing share of client list.
3. Maintaining/improving technical skill levels with industry software.
4. Maintaining/improving closing skills to increase revenue share.
5. Developing/maintaining comprehensive client files to include presentations/proposals, contract/production verifications, correspondence, timetables, etc.
6. Fundamental knowledge of routine traffic and production procedures to help facilitate efficiency in servicing client needs.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
1. 2-5+ years of sales experience in a broadcast environment are preferred.
2. Successful track record and proven ability to increase spot and NTR revenue in a competitive environment.
3. Strong work ethic, grasp of business basics and flexible personality.
4. Computer literacy required.
5. College graduate preferred.

 

Engineering / IT Assistant
Department: Engineering

Reports to: Chief Engineer
Category: Exempt
Type of Position: Full-Time
GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Assist chief engineer in the daily maintenance and support of broadcast related equipment and computers in
a broadcast environment. This is an entry level position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair local computer infrastructure to include local area network, onair
automation system, e-mail, and office workstations.
2. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair studio, transmitter, tower and antenna systems to assure
compliance with FCC regulations.
3. Assist with repair and maintenance of other in-house systems and equipment as necessary.
4. Helping to use company technology resources efficiently and effectively.
5. Assist with technical needs at station and client remote broadcasts.
6. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, electronic test equipment, follow wiring diagrams,
schematics, technical specifications and troubleshoot defective equipment and components.
7. Flexible schedule to include work outside of normal business hours and be on call.
8. Perform other duties as determined by Station General Manager or Chief Engineer.
9. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Strong networking and computer skills required including Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, 7, and
Server 2003)
2. Good administrative and interpersonal skills.
3. Good work ethic, grasp of business basics and flexible personality.
4. College graduate preferred.
